This is the DDL Melvin/Ferodo kit with Ferodo Platinum pads for front and rear. The Platinum are a good compromise between braking action, disk wear and squeal supression.

The takeaway from my talks with the Brembo and Ferodo experts is that the only cost (and time) effective upgrade for the Elefant brakes is to run as aggressive a pad as you can deal with and use the disk as a wear point. The sintered metal pads do wear the disks faster than an organic and they can squeal at some speeds. The Platinum were recommended as the best overall compromise.
