The Tacky Grips are longer than the stock area available on the bars. The switch clusters have little buttons which line up with holes in the underside of the bars to keep everything from moving around. That leaves too little room for me so I finally (6 years after buying the bike) cut the buttons off and moved the switches to where I wanted them to be to accomodate the new grips.

Moving the switches also allowed me have the lever fit my hand better.
